This 2 day course is the complete Padi freediver program. Exploring the human bodys potential whilst exploring the coastline of the Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla via boat.
There is so much to discover on your first freediver course, its not just about how to hold your breath longer and how to dive deeper.
You will walk away from this weekend with full knowledge of how your body works under breathold, the signs and signals that we feel and where they come from, how equalisation works and techniques to help overcome any issues, how to properly perform a rescue and understanding what happens to the body when we black out and how different that is to drowning. Finally a guide on how to train our breathold and help you improve.
SATURDAY
DAY 1 – Classroom ( Batemans Bay ) 9AM - 12PM
Interactive and fun theory session learning how your body works under breath hold.
Discover breathing and mental techniques to help calm your mind.
Interactions with SHARKS !! How to recognise their behaviours and what to do and dont do.
DAY 1 – Pool ( Batemans Bay Pavillions ) 1PM - 4PM
Putting all the tools we have learnt together and discovering your potential in a safe environment.
Re creating safety scenarios and performing rescues
SUNDAY
DAY 2 – The Ocean via Boat (Hanging rock boat ramp) 7AM - 1PM
All aboard !!! Diving the remote areas of our beautiful coastline from Brush Island to Toll Gate islands, where we will help you to progress to depths of between 10-16m.
We discover the different disciplines of freediving as well help you get more comfortable with going deeper.
Light lunch will be provided then back in the water to work on our safety and rescues for an ocean scenario
Leisurely cruise back along the coastline as we make our return back to port.

-no previous water experience required
-minimum 15 years and above

perform a 1.30 min static
perform 25m dynamic
perform 200m swim
perform 10m constant weight
perform 6m rescue
