From fish and squid to sea caves and jump rocks, even a shipwreck or two, there is so much to discover in Greece!
So let us take you on a journey of Breath and Water... whilst sailing the Ionian Sea and around the islands of Kithira and Crete.
If you’d like to catch your own food we are supplying the use of two spear guns.
Gear will also be available to Line dive up to 50m deep. (Certified freedivers only for this)
The Sailing
Step aboard a Lagoon 400 S2 in the Ionian Sea, Greece.
Year 2014 and refitted in 2022. Length 11.56m, width 7.25m, draft 1.21m and engine power 80hp.
5 Cabins, 5 bathrooms, 10 Berths. And our own private Skipper who has been sailing Europe for 40 years!
Sail upon turquoise clear blue water between Crete and Kithira. Also enjoy pulling into a couple of ports for some land action and touring.
This is not a retreat, it is an affordable non for profit share sail which means we all share our experience, expenses, laughter and fun! Drawn2water organises the boat and food for the week and we will also supply a couple of spear guns to gather our food. At the end of the sail the fuel is calculated and we share the cost between us.
Enjoy waching the traditional greek dancers and join in later with the live bazoukia greek band.
The Culture
Enjoy having your own greek speaking guides. Justines father Michael was born and bred in Kithira and continues to live and love there today. Drawn2water can’t wait to take you around the islands and show you the very best that they have to offer, from secluded beaches to cultural island festivities and feasting on tradtional greek food - you will experience and love it all!
August is the month of religion, culture and celebrations! After sailing aboard the Lagoon Catamaran, take some time to relax on the island of Kithira and enjoy the festivities with us!
The logistics
Fly to Athens and take either ferry from Pireas to Kithira or take an internal flight to the island of Kithira where we will meet you at the airport or Port and help navigate you to your accommodation or straight to the catamaran if you arrive on sail departure day.
Be sure to do some sight seeing in Athens while you are there such as the Acropolis and the temple of Poseidon at Sounio!

A water table land built upon limestone means that the water visibility is almost endless.
Crystal clear water, no swell, no wind, no sharks.... Just you and the water below.
The town of Mt Gambier of South Australia is home to these beautiful naturally formed sinkholes with one rainforest sinkhole being located right in the middle of town !
It truly is such a special place and we are proud to be apart of sharing with you the experience of exploring something that most travel overseas to see.

South Australia is home to some of the biggest lobsters in Australia ! So if youve had your fill of sight seeing, why not go spearfishing and lobster hunting on the South Australian peninsula.
So let us take you on an adventure of a life time hosted by Adam & Echart sharing with you this incredible experience in our very own backyard.
